Security Patrol Rifle includes in-depth practice with manipulating your safety, establishing and maintaining proper shooting stance, and re-establishing proper grip and sight alignment after realoding or clearing malfunctions.
First Shot Accuracy
In a self-defense situation, every shot counts – especially your first shot. Security Patrol Rifle emphasizes the importance of achieving first-shot accuracy. You’ll refine your marksmanship skills, focusing on proper sight alignment, stance, grip, and trigger control.
Shooting While Moving
Security Patrol Rifle goes beyond stationary marksmanship. Here, you’ll master the art of staying on target while you move, all while adrenaline is pumping. It’s about hitting your mark when the situation gets real.
Engaging Multiple Threats
In self-defense situations, you might not always face just one attacker. Security Patrol Rifle dives into the critical skill of engaging multiple threats. You’ll learn to prioritize targets, assess your surroundings, and react decisively under pressure.
To attend Security Patrol Rifle, you must meet the following:
Student Requirements
- Be 21+ years of age & a U.S. citizen or legal resident
- Be legally allowed to own a firearm in the state of Florida
- Be able to operate a firearm safely
- Complete a liability waiver before the start of the class
- A valid government-issued ID or driver’s license

Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Also, choose pants or shorts with belt loops. Avoid sandals or open-toed shoes.
Firearm & Gear Requirements
- Your service rifle (AR-15 Platform
- (3) magazines
- 250 to 300 rounds of ammunition
- Outside the Waistband holster
- (2) AR-15 Magazine pouches
- A Sturdy Belt (able to hold up the weight of your gear)
- Eye & ear protection
- Gloves
