Advanced Pistol Defense is a 2-day defensive pistol class where one-handed shooting skills, mastery of malfunctions, and achieving first-shot accuracy elevate your pistol confidence.

Movement & Use of Cover

Real-world encounters are rarely stationary. During Advanced Pistol Defense, you will practice shooting accurately while moving and develop the skills to maintain accuracy and control while on the move.

One Handed Shooting

In Advanced Pistol Defense, you’ll learn the intricacies of one-handed pistol control. You’ll learn advanced techniques for recoil management, target acquisition, and rapid-fire with just one hand.

Overcoming Malfunctions

Malfunctions happen, even to the best shooters. Advanced Pistol Defense will take your pistol skills to the next level by equipping you with proven techniques to clear common malfunctions under stress.

Engaging Multiple Threats

Real-world self-defense scenarios rarely involve a single attacker. Advanced Pistol Defense teaches you how to scan your environment and identify and engage the most immediate threat.

To attend Advanced Pistol Defense, you must meet the following:

Student Requirements

Have participated in Pistol Defense Fundamentals
Be 21+ years of age & a U.S. citizen or legal resident
Be legally allowed to own a firearm in the state of Florida
Be able to operate a firearm safely
Complete a liability waiver before the start of the class
A valid government-issued ID or driver’s license
Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Also, choose pants or shorts with belt loops. Avoid sandals or open-toed shoes.

Firearm & Gear Requirements

Semi-auto pistol (22LR, 9MM, .380, 40MM, or .45ACP)
(3) magazines
450 to 500 rounds of ammunition
Outside the Waistband holster
(2) Pistol Magazine pouches
A Sturdy Belt (able to hold up the weight of your gear)
Eye & ear protection
Gloves (optional)
