In EDC Defense we’ll dive deep into holster selection, a crucial element for comfortable and effective concealed carry. You’ll learn how to choose the right holster for your body type and preferred carry position, minimizing printing and maximizing draw smoothness.
Holster Draw
EDC Defense focuses on the critical skill of drawing from a concealed holster and delivering an accurate first shot. You’ll receive personalized instruction and immediate feedback on your drawing technique, sight picture acquisition, and first-shot accuracy.
EDC Pros & Cons
EDC Defense explores the realities and limitations of compact pistols. By understanding these limitations, you can maximize your effectiveness with your EDC gun or decide to change it altogether.

EDC Defense simulates real-world scenarios where you’ll need to react quickly under pressure. You’ll learn to move with urgency while maintaining control and accuracy with your firearm.
To attend EDC Defense, you must meet the following:
Student Requirements
- Be 21+ years of age & a U.S. citizen or legal resident
- Be legally allowed to own a firearm in the state of Florida
- Be able to operate a firearm safely
- Complete a liability waiver before the start of the class
- A valid government-issued ID or driver’s license

Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Also, choose pants or shorts with belt loops. Avoid sandals or open-toed shoes.
Firearm & Gear Requirements
- Your EDC semi-auto pistol (22LR, 9MM, .380, 40MM, or .45ACP)
- (3) magazines
- 250 to 300 rounds of ammunition
- Your EDC Holster
- (2) AR-15 Magazine pouches
- A Sturdy Belt (able to hold up the weight of your gear)
- Eye & ear protection
